Spell Games ARC Contest

Hope you all had a fine Thanksgiving. I certainly did. Just dropping in to pass along a couple of Marlalicious links:

Steven Klotz is running a giveaway for a signed ARC of Spell Games, so get over there and take a shot at reading the novel a few months early.

I just started getting into this series and was wondering if Spell Games was the final book or not?

It's hard to say, unfortunately. It's the last book contracted for, but it wasn't intended to be the last volume -- I had plans for at least two more. A few months ago, I would have said the chances of there being more volumes was good, but with the economic meltdown my editor has been laid off, my publishing company has undergone major restructuring, and nothing is even remotely certain. I hope there will be more books, but it will be some months before I know for sure. Spell Games DOES stand alone, wrapping up the major plotlines in that particular book... but it doesn't wrap up Marla's story, no. If there end up being no more novels, I imagine I'll still explore Marla's world through short stories.
